Flint Group is looking for an experienced Accountant that has a passion for numbers, is deadline driven, detail oriented, an effective communicator and is motivated by daily challenges.  The Accountant is responsible for the day-to-day assistance of the finance, accounting and operation of the agency.

What you’ll do

  • Accurately enter vendor invoices and expense reports to either job related costs or operating expenses with supported documentation.
  • Process checks.
  • Assist in month-end processes.
  • Perform with general bookkeeping duties, including posting information to accounting software and regularly reconciling accounts.
  • Pay debts as they come due for payment, including necessary bills as well as supplier and vendor invoices.
  • Obtain necessary tax forms from new vendors.
  • Make deposits and record all cash receipts.
  • Distribute client invoices and ensure that receivables are collected in a timely manner.
  • Maintain an organized and streamlined accounting system.

What we need

  • Strong computer skills, including Excel and accounting software.
  • Proven knowledge of full-cycle accounting.
  • Excellent communication, problem solving and analytical skills.
  • Financial understanding of month-end processes and billings.
  • Ability to multi-task and meet deadlines with strong attention to detail.
  • Proactive mindset with ability to work independently.

Where you’ve been

  • Accounting or Associates Degree with relevant work experience.
  • 5+ years’ experience in a relevant field.
  • Billing experience a plus.
