Financial Controller

FULL TIME / DULUTH or FARGO

The RR46 family of companies, a multi-entity organization, is looking for a Financial Controller who has a passion for numbers, is deadline-driven, detail-oriented, an effective communicator and is motivated by daily challenges. As Financial Controller, you will be responsible for leading the reporting and compliance aspect of the accounting department, including the growth and development of your team and building relationships with teams throughout RR46 global entities.

You’ll have success here if you value clear processes and are qualified to do the following things:

  • Oversee the growth, training, and development of direct reports
  • Maintain a documented system of policies, procedures, and controls to mitigate financial and operational risk
  • Oversee month and year-end financial close process
  • Oversight of monthly consolidation of financial statements and financial reporting
  • Coordinate and manage annual attestation (financial statements, 401(k) audit, etc.) and tax services
  • Collaborate and maintain relationships with our external vendors and partners
  • Prepare the monthly KPI reporting
  • Support Finance Director with budgeting and reforecasting process
  • Grow and maintain banking relationships

We train our team to help them succeed, and everyone on our team helps with our success. In this role, you’ll need to come to the table with the following skills and qualifications:

  • CPA designation
  • Public Accounting experience
  • Understanding of legal entities and consolidation, and minority ownership for purposes of financial statement presentation
  • Ability to proactively communicate with financial statement stakeholders on filings, escalations, and timing
  • Advanced computer skills, including Excel and accounting software
  • Proven knowledge of full-cycle accounting
  • Excellent communication, problem solving, and analytical skills
  • Financial understanding of month-end processes and billings
  • Ability to multi-task and meet deadlines with strong attention to detail
  • Proactive mindset with ability to work independently
  • Multi-entity experience preferred
