Flint Group is looking for an exceptional proofreader to join our creative services team. There. Their. They’re. Know the difference? If you’re a spelling wizard who can wield the grammar hammer with ease, you might be just the person we’re looking for. 

What you’ll do 

As proofreader, you’ll act as a fresh pair of eyes guarding against spelling, grammatical and layout errors. You’ll perform a “quality check” on a wide variety of agency work, from print to websites to video. Proofreading will also require an eye for design and brand consistency. 

What we need 

• Review agency work for grammar, spelling, punctuation and brand standards 
• Diligently check all rounds of revisions to ensure corrections have been accurately made by creative and production teams 
• Establish and maintain quality standards 
• Share industry trends and best practices internally 
• Communicate effectively 
• Use AP and CP Style to proofread material in fields such as manufacturing, health care and agriculture 

Where you’ve been 

• Associate or bachelor’s degree preferred  
• In-depth knowledge of grammar and punctuation rules and when to break them 
• Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask and prioritize 
• Comfort in a fast-paced creative environment 
• Strong attention to detail 
• Ability to work with a team 
• Skilled in written English 
• Self-motivated
