She’s run the Honolulu Marathon – twice. Worked as a figure skating professional in Sweden. Spoken at conferences in China and Ireland. Interviewed on TV and radio stations with Cal Ripken Jr. (*swoon*).
Oh, and she’s also an interfaith chaplain, which means she can marry you.
Meet Melanie Goldish, the new vice president of client services at our Duluth office, WestmorelandFlint.
As a writer at WestmorelandFlint, I’ve had the pleasure of getting to know Melanie over the past couple weeks. And let me tell you, she’s a spark.
A seasoned leader
A Duluth native, Melanie comes to us with more than 20 years of experience working with Fortune 500 and mid-market corporations nationwide. Past positions include serving as vice president of client relations for Carlson Marketing Group in Chicago as well as sales and consulting leadership jobs with Aon Consulting/Pecos River Change Management Group, American Express and Carlson Learning Company.
Melanie also founded SuperSibs!, a global nonprofit that supports siblings and families of children with cancer. A seasoned leader, she served as SuperSibs! executive director for eight years before returning to Duluth in 2012. Prior to becoming part of the Flint family, Melanie worked as a communications instructor at the University of Minnesota Duluth and as co-founder and senior director of an independent, Duluth-based business consultancy.
So, what’s she going to do here?
As VP, Melanie will lead our account staff and work to develop WestmorelandFlint’s client relationships. She is passionate about using our team’s capabilities to help businesses overcome challenges and carry out their missions.
Working with Melanie is a true honor. I speak for the entire team when I say we are humbled to have her with us. Her depth of experience and passion for helping businesses succeed will bring great value to our clients.
Plus, if anyone wants to get married, she’s got you covered.
