Today’s young people are tomorrow’s leaders, so it’s never too soon for current business leaders to help kids grow in the right directions. Our Duluth office proudly supports many programs to inspire and empower area young people, including the Boys & Girls Clubs of the Northland.
The Boys & Girls Clubs of the Northland (BGCN) offers kids daily access to a broad range of programs from two sites in Duluth: Lincoln Park Branch, which serves youth 6 – 18 years of age, and Dave Goldberg Family Branch at the Heritage Sports Center. BGCN also has locations in Superior, Lake Vermilion and Nett Lake.
Having a ball
The organization’s largest annual fundraiser is The Ball for Boys and Girls, one of the year’s most anticipated social events that raises money for BGCN. This was the third year of the event, which was held April 27 at the Greysolon Ballroom by Black Woods in Duluth.
Our Duluth office was honored to help create materials to promote the event.
The event attracted more than 300 guests and raised more than $95,000 in funds, which immediately began helping area kids through BGCN programs for education, career development, arts, sports, recreation, and leadership development.
We’re looking forward to working alongside today’s young people someday. Meanwhile, we’re proud to help develop these promising kids!
