Project Spark update: HatlingFlint continues the spirit of giving

By

A few months ago, we wrote a blog post about a project our St. Cloud office, HatlingFlint, has taken on to celebrate its 25th year in business. Called Project Spark, the venture involves giving back to 25 local area organizations or causes.

Since it’s been a while since our last Project Sparks update, we want to tell you about all the great things our St. Cloud office has been doing.

YMCA pro bono work

The team designed invites, programs, posters, a billboard and print ads for Promenade, the St. Cloud Area Family YMCA’s annual fundraising event.St. Cloud YMCA Promenade event invite

Inspiring creativity

HatlingFlint donated art supplies to the St. Cloud location of Reach-Up Head Start – a fun, educational program for child development and parent education.Art supplies

Humane Society Silent Auction

Every April, the Tri-County Humane Society hosts ‘Wine, Kibbles and Bids,’ an event to raise money for the nonprofit, St. Cloud-based animal shelter. HatlingFlint assembled a garden-themed basket for the event auction. Donation basket of gardening supplies

Making Strides Against Breast Cancer

Making Strides Against Breast Cancer is a nationwide series of 3- to 5-mile walks that raise money and awareness for breast cancer research. HatlingFlint donated $100 to a Making Strides team, and my coworker Emily from HatlingFlint walked with her family at the event in honor of her aunt.

Back-to-school drive

HatlingFlint joined forces with our Duluth office WestmorelandFlint for a back-to-school drive. We donated backpacks and school supplies to Duluth nonprofit Churches United in Ministry (CHUM).Employees posing with backpacks for back to school drive

Breast Reconstruction Awareness Day

Breast Reconstruction Awareness (BRA) Day is an annual, nationwide event that raises awareness about breast reconstruction surgery after mastectomies. Midsota Plastic Surgeons, host of the St. Cloud area’s BRA day event, asked volunteers to design bras to display around the city. HatlingFlint designed a bra focused on stories of breast cancer survivors who underwent breast reconstruction surgery.Decorated bra for BRA day
