Social from start to finish—Two Flint strategists to speak at Zenith Duluth SocialCon 2013

By

Business gets social at the annual Zenith Duluth SocialCon 2013.

With boot camp, intermediate, and advanced tracks, Zenith Duluth SocialCon 2013 provides some actionable insight and tried-and-true advice on how social media and search marketing work together, brought to you by industry thought leaders. The conference takes place May 30, and this year’s keynote is from Danny Sullivan, founder of Search Engine Land.

Flint’s own Libby Hall and Kathryn Gritzmacher will be there covering not only the fundamentals of social media for business, but also how to manage reputation in real-time and measure the impact of social media on overall marketing goals.

Getting Started with Social Media

Libby_Hall_2013_FG_WebsiteLibby Hall is a digital strategist for The Flint Group of Agencies, where she focuses on helping clients develop results-driven social media strategies that emphasize business goals. She emphasizes figuring out why a brand should be in social media, not just how (although she’s awfully good at the how, too). Libby has successfully created and implemented results-driven social media strategies across popular platforms for clients like maurices, US Speedskating, and SunButter sunflower seed spread. Her work has been featured in AdAge, Ragan, and PR Week.

Her fourth year speaking about social media strategy at SocialCon, Libby provides an overview of the topic in her session “Getting Started with Social Media.” “If you have any confusion about Pinterest, Instagram, Vine, or any of the other social buzzwords, this is where to start,” Libby says. “I’ll also be providing tips and questions to ask for how to make sure your business is prioritizing the right activities to meet your goals.”

Libby is also co-presenting the session “Learning to Listen: Modern Reputation Management for Businesses,” offering strategies, tips, and tools for online reputation monitoring and management. “You’ll get great insight into the tools you should use for listening, along with a cautionary tale of “what not to do,” and some great advice for how to discover and nurture your biggest fans,” says Libby.
