When we do things right, our work connects clients to their customers. But even before that, someone has to ensure our clients relate to our creative team–and vice versa.
Account Manager Linda Muus, based in our SimmonsFlint Grand Forks office, has the rare appreciation of her clients—and our creative staff members. She takes care of clients in developing plans and tactics geared to their success. And she will present nearly every concept from our creative team, given the right rationale.
“I also read and research news from our own industry as well as individual clients’ industries,” Linda says. That knowledge and expertise helps clients succeed. Linda has particular expertise in health care, and spent part of her career as a nursing home administrator. She’s maintained her nursing home administration license, which keeps her updated in that industry, too.
Those lucky enough to work with Linda also appreciate her self-described OCD (obsessive compulsive disorder) for organization. Need an email from three years ago, long-lost file or detailed client meeting notes? Lucky for you, Linda has it.
Her other self-described work duties: “Email a lot. Unjam the copier. Keep the fridge stocked with Diet Coke.” No wonder we all appreciate Linda!
OCD is good for the arts
Away from the office, Linda’s family is a priority. She and her husband Charlie have two grown children. She also serves on the North Valley Arts Council Board of Directors. They appreciate her leadership, vision and attention to detail.
“I am enjoying how the Greater Grand Forks community is growing in opportunities for artists and the town is reaping the rewards of great events and galleries,” she explains.
Shameless Pinterest interest
“At home, I love to work on home improvement projects, garden, landscape, bake, read blogs and magazines and I’m not embarrassed to say I spend countless hours on Pinterest. Most recently I took up refinishing furniture and tiling. Oh, I love reading cookbooks, too,” Linda says.
We all reap her interest in baking and cookbook-reading. If you stop by the Grand Forks office, you will, too, since there’s frequently a Linda creation in the break room.
