Massey Ferguson and Hesston by Massey Ferguson wanted social media coverage and earned media at the Farm Progress Show. The client was looking to reach attendants who would be at the show, as well as reach buyers after the show who were researching their decision.
Flint provided messaging, earned media outreach and interview facilitation during the show. Massey Ferguson was celebrating 175 years and Hesston was celebrating 75 years. Although both brands had revamped products, there was no disruptive launch. We displayed vintage tractors for attendees to look at and take photos with, and the media coverage centered around them. The evening prior to the Farm Progress Show, Flint helped Massey put on a birthday party for key dealers and customers, to give opportunity to celebrate the brand. Flint centered media around the big birthdays and coordinated 17 interviews with a reach of over 55 million.
The client was happy, and Flint continued an ongoing positive relationship with them. The interviews gained a huge reach, and the coverage was just what the client was looking for. The company’s CEO was present, and Flint was able to facilitate interviews for him and other leaders to talk about the future of the industry. During the show, we successfully celebrated where the brand has been and looked ahead to where it will go!
